Coastal Scents Metal Mania Palette

I'm back!

Wow...almost 3 months since my last post?! So sorry for the extended absence. My work schedule ended up changing for a few months, which left me little to no time for blogging. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up a little better this time! :-)

I purchased the Metal Mania Palette from Coastal Scents during their Black Friday sale, around the same time that I purchased my BH Cosmetics 88 Cool Shimmer Palette. I also purchased 2 sets of fake lashes during the sale. While the prices during the sale were fantastic, one thing that Coastal Scents did not prepare for was the amount of online shoppers that they would receive during the sale. The website was so bogged down with traffic that it took about 1 hour of refreshing and reloading checkout pages before my purchase was finalized (with high speed internet too!).

This post is fairly picture heavy, but...can any makeup addict really have too many product and swatch pictures? :-D

Wet N Wild "Baking a Cake" Palette

I had hoped to post this several days ago, but I'm quickly learning how much time blogging takes! :-)

As I mentioned in my previous post, I purchased two of the Wet N Wild Limited Edition Coloricon holiday palettes. Today I will be reviewing the second of those two, the "Baking a Cake" palette.

Wet N Wild "Baked, Not Fried" Palette

Back in November (yes...I said November. A bit late on this post, I know, but better late than never!), I purchased two of the Wet N Wild Limited Edition Coloricon holiday palettes. Each of these kits came with a palette containing six baked eyeshadows and one shimmer eyeliner. Today, I will be reviewing the "Baked, Not Fried" palette. 

BH Cosmetics 88 Cool Shimmer Palette

Hey Everybody!

Today I decided to crack open my 88 Cool Shimmer Palette that I purchased from BH Cosmetics. I also own their 120 Color Palette First Edition that I purchased a couple of years ago, which contains a combination of both matte and shimmer eyeshadows. I'm a girl that definitely loves her shimmer and sparkle! So when I had the opportunity to try out the small number of shimmer eyeshadows in the 120 palette, I was convinced that I needed to purchase a full shimmer palette, and when Black Friday rolled around, well...45% off of palettes was a savings that I couldn't resist! Their fake lashes were also about 35% off, so I tossed a pair of those into my order as well.
