Coastal Scents Metal Mania Palette

I'm back!

Wow...almost 3 months since my last post?! So sorry for the extended absence. My work schedule ended up changing for a few months, which left me little to no time for blogging. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up a little better this time! :-)

I purchased the Metal Mania Palette from Coastal Scents during their Black Friday sale, around the same time that I purchased my BH Cosmetics 88 Cool Shimmer Palette. I also purchased 2 sets of fake lashes during the sale. While the prices during the sale were fantastic, one thing that Coastal Scents did not prepare for was the amount of online shoppers that they would receive during the sale. The website was so bogged down with traffic that it took about 1 hour of refreshing and reloading checkout pages before my purchase was finalized (with high speed internet too!).

This post is fairly picture heavy, but...can any makeup addict really have too many product and swatch pictures? :-D

Similar to the BH 88 Cool Shimmer Palette, this palette contains a protective plastic cover over the shadows, a mirror, and 2 sponge applicators.

Also similar to the BH 88 palette is the size of the shadows, which is about the size of a dime.

I swatched each column of shadows from top to bottom of the palette, starting with the column on the left. Each shadow was swatched over a primer.

 I'm really liking this palette! It has a nice variety of colors and I was pleasantly surprised by the pinks and purples!

This palette can be purchased from Coastal Scents. They frequently have sales on their products, so it should be easy to snag this palette for a pretty good price! :-)
